Life drawing kicks off the New Year Sunday 16th January, Sandbar, Grosvenor st, 4:30-7pm.
As requested, this year I will be giving some assistance to those who would like guidance. I'd like to strip drawing right back and talk informally about different aspects of drawing in each session such as materials, colour, line, weight and composition. I don't want this to eat into drawing time-I only want to suggest different approaches and methods. This week I'll start with paper. So please bring different types of it. Raid your recycle bin! This year we will also do some 50 minute poses for those who enjoy the practice and for those who feel the need to practice!
Later on this year we will be asking for submissions of your life drawing work for a wall display in Sandbar. It would be fantastic if you all submitted a drawing. Sandbar will be framing them so no expense to anyone. We will let you know more about this.
